S. ShriHari worked in the quantum theory of materials group for his bachelor’s and master’s thesis. He continued on for another year as a project assistant. His research focused on implementing density functional theory in solids and using it to calculate properties of materials. He was the lead developer of the Quantum MASALA package. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the group of Prof. Sinisa Coh at the University of California, Riverside.
