The Q-HEAD lab at IISc Bangalore, lead by Prof. Srimanta Middey, investigates emergent electronic and magnetic phases in transition metal oxides and nitrides. By engineering symmetry, topology and interaction via heterostructuring and compositional complexity engineering, we probe new states of matter. Our work integrates electrical transport and magnetic phenomena with advanced synchrotron based x-ray techniques.
